Meet the founders
At Lapaka, we believe that real support is built on timeless values: honesty, responsibility, and respect for every individual. Our mission is simple — to offer care that is accessible to all, without hidden agendas or ideological filters.
We focus on practical solutions, clear communication, and genuine human connection. At a time when care can feel complicated or politicized, Lapaka stands for transparency, openness, and a commitment to helping people as they are.
Our company is shaped by three founders who share a deep respect for these principles and who work together to build trust every day. Building a company that makes a real, lasting difference in the lives of our customers.

Daniel
Founder & Psychologist
I'm Daniel de Liever, a psychologist and the founder of Lapaka. Throughout my career, both as a psychologist, writer of mental health issues and working at the largest Dutch healthcare insurance company, I've witnessed firsthand the challenges within our mental health care system—complex processes, lack of transparency, and a disconnect between practitioners and clients.
Driven by the belief that mental health care should be accessible, transparent, and free from ideological biases, I established Lapaka. Our platform is designed to bridge the gap between psychologists and clients, fostering an environment where both parties can thrive.
By prioritizing clear communication, mutual respect, and evidence-based practices, Lapaka aims to redefine the therapeutic experience. At Lapaka, we're committed to restoring trust in mental health care by ensuring that every individual—whether seeking help or providing it—feels valued, understood, and supported.
Together, we're building a community rooted in traditional values, where genuine care and professional integrity are at the forefront.

Gaddy
Co-Founder
At the heart of Lapaka.org stands a deep and unwavering passion for mental health. My mission is clear: to help individuals take charge of their lives, free from external influences or ideological trends. Mental well-being is not about fitting into molds. It's about owning your story, embracing your past, and taking full responsibility for your present and future.
We founded Lapaka.org with one core belief — real transformation begins when we stop looking outward for answers and start looking inward with courage and clarity. I believe in guiding people back to their strength, integrity, and personal responsibility.
That means acknowledging your past without excuses and choosing to build a future rooted in resilience, meaning, and self-respect. Lapaka.org is not about quick fixes or labels. It's about accountability, adventure, and growth.
It's about walking alongside you as you reclaim your narrative — not as a victim of circumstance, but as the author of a beautiful, purpose-driven life. Welcome to a space where mental health is handled with honesty, grit, and deep care — the way it should be.

Co-Founder
My commitment to Lapaka.org stems from a deep belief in traditional values and the need for trustworthy, unbiased mental health care. In today's climate, many feel alienated by the prevailing ideologies within the mental health field.
Lapaka.org offers an alternative: a platform built on transparency, respect for individual beliefs, and a commitment to evidence-based practices. We carefully select professionals who share this commitment, ensuring clients receive the support they need in an environment free from ideological pressures and judgment.
Our goal is to foster a trusting relationship between client and therapist, enabling genuine healing and growth.
